Meanwhile, Chuck is coping with the bombshell news of his father’s return from the dead. But it doesn’t look like there’s going to be much animosity for too long…

OMG! This is absolutely terrifying!

While casually walking on the sidewalk and talking on her cell phone, an unsuspecting schoolgirl in Northern China fell into a 19-foot deep sink hole!

Fortunately, a taxi driver saw the incident and immediately pulled over to help. As you can see in the video (above), he even climbs into the hole after her!

The brave man used a cable to lower himself into the hole and stayed with the barely conscious girl until help arrived with a ladder so they could both climb out.

Thankfully this scary scenario had a happy ending thanks to the miraculous courage of a man named Wang Wei.

Somebody give this guy a medal. He certainly deserves one!

FOX has also decided to renew Zooey Deschanel’s quirktastic comedy New Girl, along with allowing one of TV’s strangest families to continue their heart-warming dysfunction on Raising Hope.

President of FOX entertainment Kevin Reilly talks about the decision:

“Over the past season, New Girl has become the hottest new appointment series for young adults; Raising Hope has established itself as one of the smartest and most unique offbeat comedies on television; and Glee has continued its success as a genre-defying, global cultural phenomenon. All three of these comedies add a fresh and distinctive flavor to our Tuesday nights, and I’m really happy to bring them back to our air next season.”

YAAAY!!!

Unfortunately, it looks like I Hate My Teenage Daughter has too many haters and will probably get cancelled along with Breaking In and Fringe.

In case you were unaware, Gossip Girl made a pretty AMAZING reference to Courtney Stodden last night when Blair commented that her long-awaited rendezvous with Dan “was terrible … like the least sexy thing since” the teen bride!

And apparently, someone must have given her a head’s up about the shout-out, because she took time away from filling in her sexually uncomfortable Twitter mad libs to write the message:

Oh Blair… If Dan was with me, I would have shown him a waaay better time! xxx #gossipgirl @gossipgirl

Okay, well, in retrospect, that isn’t much less uncomfortable than anything else she puts on her Twitter.

But at least she seems to be not taking it too personally!
