Hey guys! I feel like I’ve been so MIA from my blog lately and hoping to get back into the swing of things. I’ve been super busy with work and trying to focusing on doing other things for myself that I feel like I am always running out of time. How do y’all have time to manage everything and be consistent with blogging?
Logan and I have been laying low on the weekends and we haven’t been very social. We have my birthday trip to Spain coming up in 2 weeks so I am definitely looking forward to that and unplugging from everything. Plus I get to see my cousin Pamela who is like my sister! I can’t believe I’m going to be 30–eek!
So let’s get to my big announcement (and if you follow me on IG you’re already aware– I’ve been working hard with my dad and my husband to launch my own little online shop! This has always been something I wanted to try but I am always so scared of taking risks and letting people down.
When I graduated college my dad asked me to partner up with him and open my own store but I just didn’t feel ready or experienced enough, but I don’t think I ever will! Logan got me this awesome book and I also attended a #girlboss event with ATL Girl Gang and it totally helped build up my confidence and have the courage to just do it.
So why am I doing this and what’s my vision? As you know I love fashion and I love finding a good deal; it’s rare that I spend a lot on one item (unless it’s the Gucci belt of course hehe). I feel like I have a sense for what’s trending and hot each season and I want to be able to bring those items to y’all at a less expensive price. I’m not looking to quit my job and build an empire, just something that keeps me going and excited!
So the first items that I am launching with are the hottest trend right now- straw and bamboo bags! I am always carrying mine around and I am so happy I did not spend over $200 on the Cult Gaia bag. All my bags are under $60 and are such great quality! I am also stocking up on some statement earrings to kick off the Spring season!
I am so excited about this new project and can’t wait to see where it takes me. Logan, my dad and I have spent so much time on this and working late nights none stop to get to where I want to be. I’d love to hear from y’all on what you want to see in my shop and thoughts on what I have so far! Also follow along my Instagram account for the shop so you can be the first to know about the latest arrivals!
Thanks for the support y’all!
