Preparing for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018

Hey y’all! It’s almost that time of the year- the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! And yes, everybody will be talking about it and post on Instagram all their finds.

So what is it exactly? Nordstrom will offer their hottest items for fall and winter at heavily discounted prices! It’s your time to stock up and be ready for the chilly seasons. Seriously, the deals are AMAZING! I got a pair of jeans last year for $25 that I LOVE! So it’s important to come up with a shopping strategy hehe.

Public access starts on 7/20

Tips for Shopping the Sale

Early Access

Early access is totally worth it! The 8 days really do make a difference and you can get things before they sell out. So how can you get early access? Apply here for their card.

Buy Multiple Sizes

Online shopping can be tricky when it comes to finding the right size. Since everything sells out pretty quickly. Order the item in two sizes if you are unsure and then return the other. I made this mistake last year. I ordered a pair of pants that were too small and when I wanted to buy the larger size it sold out!

Be Prepared to Purchase ASAP

As I said, everything sells out quickly so be ready to make a purchase. Don’t let items sit in your cart because they will disappear! Before the sale, plan out what you need to purchase so you have an idea of what to look for. Athletic wear? Booties? Leggings? Jeans? Write it down.

In Store Pickup

I take advantage of this Nordstrom benefit too often! Especially since I live next door to it. Check if the items you want are available in store and do the free order pick up. You can pick up your items the same day in just a matter of hours!
