Newborn Products You Will Actually Use

Hey guys! It’s been a little less than 2 weeks with a newborn in our lives and things are quickly changing around here. I was actually never nervous about bringing the baby home but just super anxious and excited. We got so many amazing things at the baby shower from my registry and I felt pretty prepared.

It’s so overwhelming with so many baby products out there and you feel like you need to have them all! I did a lot of research and also asked my mom friends for advice and for them to share their registries with me. Those were super helpful to get started! I think it’s super common to register for so many things and then realize you don’t need it all.

I wanted to share with y’all the newborn products I ACTUALLY use ever since I got home from the hospital. There are other things you will use essentially but these are the ones I can’t live without and I used them right away. Hope this helps! I obviously did not include things like diapers, wipes, thermometer, stroller, car seat, etc. Just wanted to list out my top favorite products I use daily.

1-Baby Brezza Sterilizer- This is amazing because you can quickly sterilize and dry bottles, breast pump pieces, pacifiers etc. We love it so much!

2- Diaper Bags- I LOVE these because the clean scent is SO strong and it really masks any odor.

3- Halo bassinet– Noah will be sleeping by me for a while and he loves his little bassinet. I don’t really use the buttons with all the features, so you can probably just be fine with the regular version. I like that it comes with a light though and pouches on the sides.

4- Twig for drying rack– we have two of these that we use on our drying rack to hang pacifiers or bottle nipples etc. Super handy!

5- Wipes warmer– this is a life saver and works so well! Makes Noah a little less fussy when we change him.

6- Lawn Drying Rack– we are obsessed with this! Can’t imagine life without it.

7- BabyBum Spatula- can’t remember where I saw this but we love this as well. It’s great for spreading butt cream on baby and not getting it all over your hands. I love this version that I am linking out to because it includes a travel size as well, which I have in our diaper bag.

8- Dockatot– another life saver! He’s almost too long for it but he loves it so much and we use it to lay on the bed or the couch- pretty much wherever we hang out.

9- 4moms Mamaroo– I got this as a gift from my co workers and love it as well. We keep this in the living room/kitchen and it helps Noah relax. It has different moments and you can control it via the app. You can also buy a newborn insert for it but we don’t use it.

10- Pacifiers– we bought a bunch of different kinds to see which ones he would end up liking. The ones I am linking are his favorite ones!

11- Bumbo Changing Pad– I originally was going to get a mat with a cover but this one is super easy to clean.

12- Ubbi Diaper Pail– Between this and the diaper bags, you will never smell a dirty diaper in the nursery! This diaper pail really contains all odors and you can use any bag with it.

13-Boob-ease– If you are breastfeeding, this product is amazing and organic. You’ll thank me later but nipple butter is a must.

14- Boppy- Another great product if you are breastfeeding and truly a newborn essential!

15- Hatch baby rest– This white noise machine is controlled by an app on your phone and has so many awesome features. You can change the light colors, sound and set up a daily timer.

16- Dr. Brown’s Newborn Baby Bottle Kit– We love these and it’s supposed to help with avoiding gas the way the bottle is created. We got other bottles as well but Noah loves these the most.
