Well, it’s that time again! I can’t believe baby #2 is right around the corner. I have already packed my bag for the hospital and I received some requests to share my list and what I’m bringing. I made a few updates since I packed my last bag 2 years ago (blog post here). If you didn’t hear my delivery story, I ended up having a C section last time. I had packed a lot of postpartum items for a vaginal delivery that I did not end up using, so you won’t see them in this list! This time, I am having a scheduled C section but one thing I learned is to always plan for the unexpected. Below are the items I am packing in my suitcase to bring to the hospital.

One life changing item I brought last time was my own twin comforter. I was able to sleep so much better at the hospital and highly recommend! The hospital provides a lot of things for baby like diapers and pacifiers but I decided to bring my own pacifiers this time that we used with baby #1. I also recommend bringing an empty bag/tote since the hospital gives you freebies when you go home. Because of Covid, we are limited on where we can go and pretty much have to stay in our room. We will be bringing our cooler and packing it with tons of snacks and drinks. Last time, I brought some snacks and treats for the nurses and they really enjoyed them. I will be bringing them again this time! Check out my Instagram highlights for some ideas. Picture below of what I have so far.

Lastly, here are some items I mentioned in my hospital bag that I recommend!
